The "Citizen Journo" website, is designed to bring like minded recreational/sports pilots, interested in flying (weightshift trikes) & riding retro motorcycles, together. Who also wish to visually record the people, events and places that influence our lives, particularly in relation to water issues.   

Citizen journalists are not commercial journalists but rather, members of society. Who wish to find possible solutions, to some of the major issues. By expressing our own experience/points of view as well as the experience/opinions of others. Particularly on issues of personal interest and importance. We will also be raising the important question; "Is Australia An Effective Democracy Or A Bureaucratic Dictatorship?"

"Citizen Journo for Social, Environmental & Economic Change" is designed to take a different approach to the world around us and to visual media content on the Internet. Rather than concentrating on the negative or the commercial aspects. 

We aim to be confronting but at the same time emphasising the individuals as well as the organisations, that are making a positive impact on our world and our natural environment. Hopefully providing some solutions, rather than just  critisism.

The personal approach that I will also be taking. Will be to promote anyone genuinely & actively associated with the "The Venus Project" or the Fourth Sector, both here in Australia as well as overseas. To help inform people of the possible benefits of creating a future resource based economy (RBE). There are many people and organisations out there, attempting to put "The Venus Project" & the Fourth Sector into practical action. I would like to find and record what others are doing, to make this world a better place. Particularly in relation to aviation. 

Future contributors to this website, will be free to choose related subjects or issues that are important to them personally. In particular, relating to water & how this valuable resource is being effected by climate change (El Nino/La Nina). 

I have a personal preferance for Tsunamis, "The Venus Project" the creation of a fourth sector, recreational/sports aviation, electric flight, microlight weightshift trikes & water. As my main focus for citizenjourno.com.au.

Because citizen journalists are not employed as such, due to ethical reasons. Other than as freelance cameramen/women and active website promoters or through sponsorship & Philanthropy. We need to be able to generate an income to prevent us from starving & to access basic resources, while we are on the road or in the air (this is the plight of a modern western society). So another part to citizen journo, is the sustainability aspect. This involves providing future video classifieds, digital photo's as well as video files to USB drives. Helping people who support us. To privately sell or buy their recreational/sports aircraft, retro motorbikes or kayaks through the Internet. 

I can also provide video & digital images. To help promote the websites of clubs, businesses or individuals that are associated with or support our common interests and wish to sponsor citizenjourno.com.au. 

I will consider "sponsorship" from related industry organisations, clubs, businesses and Individuals. Wishing to present their services or product to the recreational/sports flying, retro motorcycling or kayaking community, throughout Australia as well as overseas. Without this service to the public, citizen journo could not exist. So by supporting us and our services to you you will be helping to inform Australia, for the future. 

I have provided a link here to a seperate website for my 92 Enfield Bullet motorcycle. That I purchased in 2008 to use for my journey. This mock classified, also provides an example for people to get an idea of what a basic classified can look like. Content can be added or removed at will.

One of the main features of citizen journo, will be links and imbeds to relevant video content. There are a few examples to start with on the "Documentaries page". More video links will be placed throughout the site as they become available. Links to the personal websites of other citizen journo contributors, listing background and services, will also be available, to get in direct contact with the "Skyrangers", "Bushrangers" & "Waterrangers" in your area. 

This is primarily an information & networking website, not necessarily a commercial website so please don't get us confused with the larger corporations (I'm sure there are still some ethical ones out there). We are a grass-roots people, making a positive difference, through our actions towards promoting "The Venus Project", the emerging Fourth Sector & social enterprise.

The Zeitgeist Movement & "The Venus Project" have unfortunately parted & gone their seperate ways, since April of 2011. However, I believe that the three Zeitgeist movies as well as the Resource Based Economy video by Peter Joseph. Are important in understanding the need for our society. To move away from a global, monetary based system. The first "Zetgeist movie" can be viewed from the "Documentaries page" of this website.

We also intend to show, to the Australian public. The new documentary "Paradise or Oblivion", recently created by "The Venus Project". In order to explain the project to people who have not heard of the concept before. To promote the creation of a major motion picture for the project in the future. As well as to encourage people to make up their own minds. In relation to. If they believe a future Resourse Based Economy. Is a possible solution to the World's major problems or not. 

Ignorance might be bliss to a point but knowledge is power!
